Bath & Body Works Announces Annual Candle Day Deal

Candle Day offers the season’s lowest price on 3-wick candles, including more than 50 exclusive Candle Day scents and six new scents from the brand available for the event. On Candle Day the same price applies to all 3-wick candles $9.95 (Sales value: $24.95-$26.95) – lowest price of the season while supplies last.

To celebrate the highly anticipated event, Bath & Body Works is hosting a “lead-up” to Candle Day with a spectacle that only America’s favorite candle brand – and America’s most decorated athlete – can deliver. To Dec 5thCandle Day Eve, gold medalist power couple Tara Davis Woodhall And Hunter Woodhall and gold medalist Jordan Chiles will host a fun run and pass the torch through the streets of Manhattanfrom the New York Stock Exchange to New York City Hudson Yards to light a giant 3-wick candle to begin the countdown to Candle Day.

The lead up to Candle Day
The celebration begins Dec 5th with the CEO of Bath & Body Works Gina Boswell Ringing of the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Immediately afterwards, Tara Davis Woodhall And Hunter Woodhalltogether with Jordan Chileswill begin a four-mile candle torch relay Manhattanculminating in Hudson Yards, where the three wicks of a giant Bath & Body Works candle are “lit” to begin the countdown to Candle Day. The 3-wick LED candle is 12 feet tall, 9 feet in diameter, and is accompanied by a 12-foot long match for “lighting.” It features a dynamic, animated label that alternates between some of Bath & Body Works’ most iconic holiday candle scents, including Fresh Balsam, ‘Tis the Season and Winter Candy Apple, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversaryTh anniversary this year.

Bath & Body Works fans can also join in the festivities at Candle Fest, a consumer celebration 6-8 p.m in the main plaza of Hudson Yards. Candle Fest will be hosted by DJ Kyle Cooke Winter candy apple Themed drinks, a selection of PocketBac hand sanitiser and photo ops at the giant countdown candle.

The countdown to Candle Day will extend to various digital billboards across the city as a permanent reminder that the event is approaching. These complement the brand’s innovative new scented poster experience that has been launched November 19th at 433 Broadway between Grand Street and Canal Street and features holiday themes paired with some of Bath & Body Works’ most iconic scents.

This year’s installation promises to light up the senses and minds of Bath & Body Works’ candle fans as it counts down to the official start of Candle Day at 11 p.m 6am EST To Dec 6th.

HIGHLIGHTS OF CANDLE DAY 2024
This year’s event will feature more than 180 3-wick candles featuring more than 140 exclusive Bath & Body Works scents, including more than 50 new candles that arrived specifically for the event. New candles arriving for Candle Day include:

  • Bath & Body Works x Bridgerton limited edition candles created in collaboration with Netflix and Shondaland, including Diamond of the Season in a brand new look, as well as two new candles: Penelope’s First Kiss and Colin’s Return.
  • Christmas scents to celebrate the season, including Merry Mimosa, Iced Winter Balsam, Cranberry & Pomegranate and Sugar Cookie.
  • Ingredients most requested by customers like lavender, coconut, coffee and lemon
  • Festive scentsBlack Tie, Peach Bellini and Black Cherry Merlot, in exclusive Candle Day commemorative designs.
  • Spring Previewsincluding Margarita Island, Tiki BeachWatermelon Lemonade, Coconut Sandalwood and Laundry Day in spring-inspired designs and color palettes for the coming season.
  • Favorite scents for body care fansBack in stores for a limited time, including “Japanese Cherry Blossom,” “In the Stars,” “Warm Vanilla Sugar,” and “Ocean,” making it a great gift addition for fragrance lovers.

HOW TO SHOP FOR CANDLE DAY
Customers can shop Candle Day in-store, online and through the Bath & Body Works mobile app. Early access begins at Friday, 6 a.m. ESTDecember 6th for loyalty members. Some popular and limited edition fragrances are expected to sell out before Sunday. To give customers the best chance of fulfilling their candle wish list, they can join Bath & Body Works’ 38 million-member loyalty program for early access. Candle Day continues throughout the weekend and all customers can take part in the event Saturday December 7th And Sunday December 8th.
