Milan are waiting for news after Christian Pulisic limped off the pitch due to injury during their Serie A game at Atalanta.

He was seen limping heavily after Mario Pasalic inflicted a blow on his right ankle and calf muscles, which was also due to him slipping after contact between these players.

Although Pulisic was treated by the Milan medical team, he was unable to continue due to the pain and had to be substituted.

Two members of the medical staff helped him leave the field.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the problem is a hardening of the calf muscles and requires further testing.

This is a concern for the Rossoneri as they have a big Champions League game against Crvena Zvezda next week.

The 26-year-old American has scored eight goals and six assists in 19 competitive games for Milan so far this season.
