Macaulay Culkin Reveals Son Dakota, 3, ‘Thinks He’s Kevin’ from ‘Home Alone’

Macaulay Culkin’s son is such a big fan of Home alonehe really made the film his own.

Speaking to E! News: The 42-year-old actor revealed that his sons Dakota, 3, and a 2-year-old, whose name has not yet been revealed, absolutely love his iconic Christmas film. Home alone. Culkin even shared that Dakota mixes the hilarious actions of his father’s character, Kevin, with his own childhood memories.

“He thinks he’s Kevin,” Culkin, who shares his two children with his fiancée Brenda Song, told the outlet.

“I’m like, ‘Do you remember going down the stairs in the sleigh?’ He goes, “Mmhmm, yeah.” I’m like, “Do you remember when he had yellow hair?” And he goes, ‘Uh-huh, yeah.'”

Dakota even told his father that he “fought the burglars,” but Culkin just couldn’t take his lies anymore.

“You’re a liar who lies,” he joked to his toddler, adding, “That was me!”

Culkin starred in the 1990 film alongside his brother Kieran Culkin, who announced earlier this week that his daughter Kinsey, 5, and son Wilder, 3, would not be allowed to see the film.

“There are still some scary parts,” the father of two explained. “For the three-year-old, there’s the tarantula (and) there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m going to bite all your fingers off.’ That’s scary for a three-year-old.”

“We think they might be ready for this Home alone this year,” he added. “If not, next year.”
