The FPL General is back with another round of FPL tips and selects the teams with the best series of games and the best resources from each of these clubs.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will look to capitalize on a busy holiday period as teams play an increased number of games in a matter of weeks.

Player selection is crucial at this time of year and depends heavily on each team’s play. Below are the teams with the best match history and FPL tips on who to pick.

FPL Tips: 5 teams with the best fixtures (next 5 GWs) + their top 3 assets

arsenal

  1. Bukayo Saka
  2. Gabriel
  3. Jurrien Timber

The Gunners have been on a high in recent weeks, with their most notable victory coming against Manchester United and their next five games are extremely positive.

Mikel Arteta’s side face: Fulham (A), Everton (H), Crystal Palace (A), Ipswich (H) and Brentford (A) – meaning the Gunners play against three teams battling relegation.

A standout option is obviously Bukayo Saka, who has contributed to 15 goals in the first 14 games of the season (5G+10A), with the Englishman amassing 101 points so far – only bettered by Mohamed Salah (151) and Cole Palmer (107).

Arsenal also have plenty of defensive options, with Gabriel and Jurrien Timber extremely tempting if the Brazilian is fit.

Gabriel has been a constant threat from corners and Arsenal have scored the most from set-pieces this season with seven – Timber scored one of his own against United.

Bournemouth

  1. Antony Semenyo
  2. Evanilson
  3. Justin Kluivert

The Cherries face Ipswich (A), West Ham (H), Manchester United (A), Crystal Palace (H) and Fulham (A), which means a good start to the new year for Andoni Iraola.

Antonie Semenyo has been a key player for Bournemouth this season, contributing five goals so far (4G+1A), but has failed to score in his last three league games.

Another strong option is Brazilian striker Evanilson, who has the most points in the entire Bournemouth squad with 61.

Evanilson contributed three assists to Bournemouth’s 4-2 win over Wolves and won three penalties, which were converted by the next player on this list – Justin Kluivert.

The Dutchman became the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick in penalties and is just behind Evanilson with 60 FPL points.

Brighton

  1. Joao Pedro
  2. Kaoru Mitoma
  3. Pervis Estupinan

The Seagulls put in a disappointing performance in GW14, losing 3-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage, but their upcoming games could bring a string of good results in the Premier League.

Brighton face: Leicester (A), Crystal Palace (H), West Ham (A), Brentford (H) and Aston Villa (A), with the final game of the year at Villa Park looking to be the toughest clash.

Joao Pedro is the obvious option for Brighton as the Brazilian has contributed to seven goals in just eight appearances this season (4G+3A).

Pedro appeared in the first three games of Brighton’s season, collecting 18 points, before missing seven of the next eight games.

Since his return, the 23-year-old has collected 30 points in four appearances and only Danny Welbeck (68) and Kaoru Mitoma (59) have managed more over the course of the season.

Speaking of Mitoma, the Japan international is another good option for your FPL squad after contributing to 21 points in his last three appearances.

We finally have a defensive option in Pervis Estupinan, who has worked his way back into the team after recovering from injury and is showing signs of the form that saw him score 128 points in the 2022/23 season.

Manchester City

  1. Josko Gvardiol
  2. Erling Haaland
  3. Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City have been a nightmare for FPL players in recent weeks as their players typically cost a pretty penny and the Cityzens have lost four games in a row in the league.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side ended their poor form with a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest and Kevin De Bruyne had two goals (1G+1A) in his first start since September.

City are facing some successful encounters: Crystal Palace (A), Manchester United (H), Aston Villa (A), Everton (H) and Leicester (A).

Josko Gvardiol could be a smart option with Manchester City struggling with injuries at the back, making the Croatian a safe starter.

The 22-year-old has scored three goals this season, an excellent achievement given his position, and has scored the second-highest number of FPL points for City with 56.

Who has the most FPL points for Manchester City? Well, that’s probably pretty obvious because despite not scoring a goal in three consecutive league games, Erling Haaland has amassed 91 points.

The Norwegian will fancy his chances against the defenses of Crystal Palace, Everton and Leicester as the three relegation-threatened sides conceded 18, 21 and 28 league goals respectively.

Liverpool

  1. Mohamed Salah
  2. Trent Alexander Arnold
  3. Virgil van Dijk

Finally, we have league leaders Liverpool, who are in tremendous form that makes almost every game a favorable result.

The Reds face Everton (A), Fulham (H), Tottenham (A), Leicester (H) and West Ham (A) before the start of 2025 and will be looking to reach maximum points and increase their lead at the top claim.

Mohamed Salah is the star of Arne Slot’s team. He contributed 21 goals in 13 appearances this season (13G+8A) and has the highest FPL points total this season.

The Egyptian has scored in seven consecutive league games and is on course to break Jamie Vardy’s record of 11 games in a row.

Not only did Liverpool score a lot of goals, but their ability to keep clean sheets also played a big role, and a lot of that credit goes to Virgil van Dijk.

The Netherlands international has been at his best this season, keeping seven clean sheets in the league and collecting 64 points so far.

Just behind that tally is Trent Alexander-Arnold with 61, as the Englishman has returned from injury and will look to add to his three assists already this season.
