How to cheer on Rhody Football’s FCS run – Rhody Today

KINGSTON, R.I. – December 4, 2024 – Rhode Island’s historic football season continues Saturday when the Rams – who are 11-2 this season and ranked No. 10 in the country – travel to Georgia to play in the second round No. 7 Mercer to play in the FCS national playoffs.

Rhody fans are invited to a team farewell on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Ryan Center Ram Lot and a game-watching party on Saturday at the Ryan Center.

The URI-Mercer football game begins at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Prior to the football watch party, the URI men’s basketball team will play its highly anticipated game against in-state rival Providence College. Fans with a ticket to the men’s basketball game can remain in their seats after the competition is over to join the football game watching party. Anyone who does not have a ticket to a men’s basketball game may enter the Ryan Center immediately after the basketball game ends for the watch party.

Kick-off is 2:00 p.m. The watch party begins immediately after the end of the men’s basketball home game against Providence College. The watch party is free and open to the public. Concession stands will be open for the event.

Fans are encouraged to enjoy a full day of Rhody pride. There are still a limited number of tickets available for the men’s basketball duel on PC. The Rams are off to an 8-0 start as they enter Ocean State’s annual battle for bragging rights.
