FAYETTEVILLE – After back-to-back road games, Arkansas briefly returns home to host UTSA on Saturday (Dec. 7). Tipoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus.

After UTSA, Arkansas hits the road again to appear in the annual Jimmy V Classic on December 10th at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The Razorbacks face Michigan and play after Tennessee plays Miami (Florida). Both games will be televised on ESPN.

NOTES:

  • Arkansas and UTSA have only met six times, and the Razorbacks have won every meeting.
  • Three of the meetings took place in Fayetteville.
  • The last time the two programs met was on December 15, 2018 in North Little Rock, a 79-67 win for the Razorbacks. Isaiah Joe led Arkansas with 21 points on 5 of 6 shooting from 3-point range and 6 of 6 at the line. Two Razorbacks recorded double-doubles in the win. Daniel Gafford had 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Jalen Harris had 11 points and 10 assists. Reggie Chaney added 11 points, four steals and three blocked shots. Jhivvan Jackson led UTSA with 20 points and Keaton Wallace scored 18.
  • This is Coach Calipari’s first time facing UTSA.
  • With 18 points and six assists in Miami, Boogie Fland ranks second in the SEC in helpers (5.0 average) while moving to 12th in the league in scoring (16/1 average).
  • Johnell Davis went just 4 of 18 (22.2%) from 3-point range in the first five games. However, he is 8 of 15 (53.3%) from 3-point range in the last three games.
