Ohio Bobcats vs Miami (OH) Redhawks prediction, odds and tips

We have a rivalry game coming up as Ohio looks to avenge its regular season loss to Miami (OH), this time in the MAC Championship Game. Since the 30-20 loss to Miami (OH), the Bobcats have had five straight ATS wins and a solid offensive performance. However, probably Ohio’s worst offensive performance this season was against these RedHawks’ defense, where they opened the game with three straight three-and-outs and only scored 6 points after three quarters. Defensively, the RedHawks rank 12th in net points per drive and have been solid, limiting scoring opportunities while ranking 23rd in red zone defense.

I expect this to be a defensive battle on both sides considering Miami’s (OH) offense ranks 128th in points per possession and 3rd/4th in success rate. Downs is ranked 127th. Additionally, both sides tend to rely on the running game, but both defenses were incredible against the run in conference play, holding opponents to less than 2.8 yards per carry. Aside from the actual matchup, the Under is 14-7 since 2006 in conference championship games in which both teams enter the game with an extended break. All in all, I assume the following.

Available at 44.5 (-110) at time of publication. Playable under this number.
