UFC 310 Cold Open previews the high-stakes “Phenomenon” vs. “Force of Nature” match.

The final pay-per-view of 2024 is here and the stakes are incredibly high.

That’s a big theme in the UFC 310 Cold Open, narrated by actor Ron Perlman and taking a look at the flyweight championship main event between Alexandre Pantoja and promotion newcomer and challenger Kai Asakura.

Additionally, Perlman discusses the weight of “phenom” Ian Machado Garry and “force of nature” Shavkat Rakhmonov in the co-main event of the welterweight title eliminator. Get an early look at the UFC 310 Cold Open below.

Pantoja is heading into his third title defense following decision wins over Brandon Royval and, most recently at UFC 301 in May, Steve Erceg. “The Cannibal,” riding a six-fight winning streak, welcomes Asakura, a former RIZIN bantamweight champion, to the UFC with a rare chance to win the championship in the first fight.

The undefeated Rakhmonov has defeated all 18 of his opponents and is making his first appearance in 2024. “Nomad” was scheduled to challenge Belal Muhammad for the 170-pound title in the main event, but an injury sidelined the champion’s plans. Now Rakhmonov faces fellow unbeaten fighter Ian Machado Garry in a five-round co-main event. Garry won his two fights in 2024 against Geoff Neal and Michael Page.
