Emanuel Navarrete vs. Oscar Valdez 2 below: Full list of fights before the main event in boxing 2024

Can Emanuel Navarrete go 2-0 against Oscar Valdez when the two meet in a rematch for the WBO super featherweight title on December 7? The fight will be broadcast in the US on ESPN (via Fubo).

The two faced each other in August 2023. Navarrete (38-2-1) landed 34 shots in the 12th round, the most by a Valdez (32-2) opponent. In the 10th, both men landed heavy punches, and after a hard-fought fight, Navarrete won by unanimous decision to retain the WBO belt.

Navarrete has gone 0-1-1 since then and is looking to win another title in a different division. He’s back in his proper weight class and ready to defend his turf against a familiar opponent.

Valdez won preliminary gold by defeating Liam Wilson. The former featherweight and super featherweight world champion is desperate to wear gold around his waist again. If this is the last time he fights for a title, Valdez will want to make the most of the opportunity presented to him.

“We know he trains at high altitude. This guy throws a lot of punches, so we have to use our footwork to escape those shots and counter punches,” Valdez told DAZN.

“It would mean the world to me (to win gold). I want to be world champion again. You might lose in the ring, you might lose in life, but you have an obligation to come back and come back strong.”

Another epic rematch for gold takes place on the Emanuel Navarrete vs. Oscar Valdez 2 card as the top contenders look to impress.
