Ciryl Gane was furious after his win over Alexander Volkov

Ciryl Gane just finished his fight with Alexander Volkov with another win on his record.

That doesn’t tell the whole story, however, as the crowd obviously felt the Russian should have raised his hand.

During the contest, Volkov landed some huge punches, including a spinning backfist that shook his rival to the core.

So when the decision was read out, the official loser looked confused as boos echoed through the venue.

The Parisian said: “It was really close, he did a really great job. I know I put him in danger; That’s perhaps why the jury chose me.

“I broke my toes, so I’m not happy with the fight. I broke my toes on the first kick. Anyway, no excuses.

“I won, but I’m not happy.”
