IShowSpeed ​​​​is named Streamer of the Year 2024

In contrast to his usual over-the-top energy, Speed ​​was unusually subdued… but of course he celebrated his big win at the end of the evening with a backflip, recalling his viral attempt to break the world record for the most backflips in 24 hours.

“This award means a lot to me,” Speed ​​said in his victory speech. “I really fell in love with this streaming game. Streaming has really allowed me to express myself and show who I am in so many ways.

“The passion that I have for streaming and the love that I have for streaming… I’m not going to stop. This award? There’s more to come.”

Both Speed ​​and fellow streamer Kai Cenat ended up with a big win: Kai won the Best Streamed Collaboration, Best Just Chatting Streamer, and Best Marathon Stream awards, being the only other streamer to do so took home three awards.

2024 was a big year for both networks, which continued to deliver viral moments thanks to livestream events like Mafiaathon 2 and Speed’s constant travels around the globe (and of course his viral race against Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles, among others).

Speed ​​has promised even more next year. With both streamers pushing their broadcasts to unprecedented limits, it’s unclear how they’ll manage to top themselves, making fans all the more excited for the future.
