Tottenham Hotspur faces Chelsea in the Premier League.

Jamie Carragher called out Marc Cucurella after Tottenham Hotspur made it 2-0 against Chelsea.

Spurs hosted London rivals Cheslea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon looking to end their three-game winning streak.

Cheslea, meanwhile, were looking to move up to second in the Premier League table after Arsenal dropped points at Craven Cottage, where they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham.

Enzo Maresca’s men will also cut Liverpool’s lead at the top to just four points if they manage to beat Spurs after the Merseyside derby was canceled on Saturday morning.

Ange Postecoglou’s men got off to a perfect start after goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski made it 2-0.

Chelsea defender Cucurella was partly to blame for both of Spurs’ goals after he lost his footing and allowed his opponent to regain possession.

Behind Kulusevski’s goal, Cucurella could be seen rushing to the sideline to change his shoes.

Which infuriated former Liverpool and England defender Carragher.

Commentator Carragher said on Sky Sports: “Cucurella comes to the bench, don’t blame anyone – it’s your own fault son! Total schoolboy stuff. Awkward.”

“He’s slipping again. Look at how he shrugs. Didn’t he warm up?”

But despite his early misfortunes, Cucurella’s change of boots did him good as he provided an assist for Jadon Sancho, who made it 2-1 with a fine long-range shot after 17 minutes.

On Sancho’s goal, Carragher said: “It’s just outstanding from Sancho. He shot the ball outside the keeper and they’re back in the game.”

Former Republic of Ireland striker Clinton Morrison said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “Sancho has definitely got his mojo back. All he needs is a little love.”

“That’s just as good as Kulusevski’s finish. That’s a great goal. What a football game.”
