Final score and bold predictions for Saints vs. Giants in Week 14

Final score and bold predictions for Saints vs. Giants in Week 14

Our editors have made their picks for Sunday’s game between the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants, and it’s looking lopsided. The records between the 4-8 Saints and the 2-10 Giants may not be that far apart, but the vibe surrounding each team couldn’t be more different right now. If we interpret the tea leaves correctly, this one shouldn’t be around.

So let’s be brave and make some predictions. Here are our opinions on Saints vs. Giants in Week 14:

This should be a great opportunity for the Saints offense to get back on track against a poor New York run defense, even without Taysom Hill. Getting key blockers like Erik McCoy and Lucas Patrick back in the lineup should also help. The Giants don’t have much to offer on offense, so the Saints could run away here. My bold prediction? Kendre Miller rushes for 100 yards in his first game back from injured reserve. Saints 24, Giants 13.John Sigler

The injury bug has impacted the Saints, but it has taken the Giants to a whole new level. This means New York will have to look deep down the depth chart at multiple positions, making it vulnerable to all opponents. The Saints have had new life under Darren Rizzi, but he has made some rookie mistakes along the way, which are now starting to show after the two-game winning streak, and the New Orleans team is not a world beater. The Giants aren’t concerned with being overly competitive right now and are falling to the Saints as Alvin Kamara puts together a game for the books. Saints 31, Giants 14.Crissy Froyd

The New Orleans Saints return to the win column against the New York Giants. The Giants’ tendency to allow over-the-top completions fits perfectly with what the Saints want to do. The speed of Brian Burns against Trevor Penning will be a crucial factor in this duel. Bold Prediction: Alvin Kamara reaches over 100 yards and 1,000 rushing yards for the fourth time this season. Saints 24, Giants 13.Darrion Gray

I don’t think the Saints will have much trouble in this game. The Giants are in real trouble across the board, while the Saints are getting a little healthier on the offensive side of the ball. They should have a great day with Erik McCoy and Kendre Miller potentially returning to the roster, which should also allow for some big plays in the passing game. I could see the Saints beating this team from start to finish. Bold Prediction: The Saints will have over 400 yards of total offense. Saints 31, Giants 13.Luke Loffredo

I’ve been very critical of the Saints this season, but I think they’ll win this game pretty easily. The Giants are one of the worst teams in football and with Drew Lock at the helm I don’t think the Saints will have any problems at all. My bold prediction is that Marquez Valdes Scantling will catch a 70-yard touchdown pass in this game. Saints 24, Giants 6.Jonny Camer

The New Orleans Saints have found themselves in a tough situation again, falling to the Los Angeles Rams last week in what was a totally winnable game if the offense decided they wanted to show up outside of a few games. This has been a consistent theme throughout the season, and even more so given the injuries they have accumulated throughout the squad. The New York Giants aren’t particularly great either, but they keep games close at times and make things interesting. I don’t think this is the blowout it appears to be on paper, as I think the Giants still have a good defense to work with. Bold Prediction: This game stays within 10 points and Derek Carr is held under 250 yards. Saints 24, Giants 20.Jeremy Trottier
