Target fans can’t get enough of the company’s new holiday campaign, which has transformed Santa Claus from cute to sexy.

With Christmas fast approaching, the American retailer kept everyone in the mood with a new series of ads starring model Brent Bailey as Target employee “Kris K.”, also known as Kris Kringle. However, instead of looking like your typical Santa, Bailey wore a tight red quarter-zip sweater and khaki pants, causing onlookers to fawn over the handsome Santa.

The first 30-second spot, titled “Born to Be Kris,” showed the 41-year-old silver-haired actor driving a red Ford Bronco with a “Sleigh” license plate on the back. He was then seen getting out of the car in front of a snow-covered Target while Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild” played in the background.

“Meet Kris, our newest Target team member. He loves the holidays as much as the next guy. Actually, a lot more than the next guy,” Target wrote in the ad’s description on YouTube. “Actually, much more than anyone we know. Actually, more than anyone else knows. But hey, that’s not important. What is is that shiny red Bronco and the perfectly groomed beard.”

The Christmas commercial, which Bailey posted on Instagram on November 14, captivated fans not only with his silver fox facial hair, but also with his overall “appeal.”

“Sexy Target Santa…Not your mom’s Santa,” one viewer commented under his post.

In the second ad – titled “He’s hot, but these targeted turkey deals are hotter” – Bailey’s Kris K. returned as he approached a woman in the refrigerated section. When the woman saw him, she told Bailey that he was “weirdly hot” before reaching for a $0.79 turkey.

The 15-second spot was viewed more than six million times on YouTube.

“My favorite ad of the 2024 season so far. I can’t get enough of it,” one fan commented, while another said, “Congratulations Target, Santa made it.”

Target also released a third video as part of its holiday campaign called “Kris from Target,” which featured Bailey doing bicep curls with a miniature Christmas tree while walking through the store.

On Instagram, Target shoppers begged for more sexy Santa ads and wanted the chance to meet Bailey in person.

“Where are they taking photos with THIS Santa? “I’d like some,” one person asked, while a second user wrote, “Whoever is in charge of our marketing deserves a raise.”

“I love it, this is my kind of Santa,” another commenter added.

“I believe in Santa Claus again,” someone else joked.

Of course, one skeptical viewer pointed out that Target’s version of Santa would probably only appeal to adults and kids wouldn’t be as keen on Bailey’s interpretation.

“I guess adults might like this Santa, but kids won’t,” they wrote.
