• KALUMA CLEANS THE GLASS: Senior F Arthur Kaluma He reached the high point of his college career with 16 rebounds in Wednesday’s win at NC State. He leads the team in rebounding (8.1 rpg) and ranks second in points (13.6 rpg) and minutes (31.1 rpg) as well as second in assists through the first eight games this year ( 20) and steals (8).
• IMPACT FRESHMAN: Freshman G Tre Johnson has led or tied for the team lead in points in each of his first eight collegiate contests. Johnson, who scored a game-high 18 points in Wednesday’s win over NC State, leads the SEC in scoring (20.8 ppg) and is shooting 44.6 percent (25-56) from three-point range this season -Reach.
