Travis Barker Drums Blink-182 Hits in Stream

The musician stopped by the streamer’s ongoing “Subathon” to perform two Blink-182 hits, as well as songs from Future and Metro Boomin, as well as Travis Scott

Travis Barker delivered a 13-minute, uninterrupted solo drum performance – including two classic Blink-182 songs – on Kai Cenat’s marathon Twitch stream.

For the last month, Cenat has been broadcasting his “Mafiathon 2” stream non-stop, attempting to break the record for most paying Twitch subscribers (with some of the money also being donated to charity). Snoop Dogg, Glorilla and Lil Uzi Vert have all made guest appearances, and yesterday Barker stopped by to celebrate another subscriber milestone.

The drummer entered the stream wearing a Marshmello head, introduced by NPC Miles Morales (aka popular TikToker Leaks World), while Cenat was reportedly still fast asleep. Barker’s opening fill had Cenat jumping out of bed, and after a quick stretch he was soon rocking out to the powerful solo.

Barker then drummed on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Fried (She a Vibe)” and played with Playboi Carti on Travis Scott’s “Fe!n.” He then dug out two favorite Blink-182 songs and drummed along with over-the-top versions of “Dammit” and “All the Small Things.” (The Blink-182 songs can be found in the clip below, and you can watch the entire performance here.)

Barker spent much of the past year on the road with Blink-182, who toured the world in support of their latest album, One More Time. The album was released last October and Barker and Mark Hoppus reunited with guitarist Tom DeLonge, who left the band in 2015.

More recently, Barker co-produced a new collaboration between MGK and Jelly Roll titled “Lonely Road,” which interpolates the John Denver classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The three artists performed together The Tonight Show last month to perform the song.
