Editor’s Note: The following is a detailed account of a sexual assault.

Houston attorney Tony Buzbee has sued Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, alleging that the superstar musician and entrepreneur raped a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.

According to multiple reports, the allegations are part of a new complaint in a lawsuit Buzbee originally filed against Combs in the Southern District of New York in October. In the new lawsuit, an accuser identified as “Jane Doe” accuses Carter and Combs of sexually assaulting her at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty.

The lawsuit alleges Doe did not have a ticket to the 2000 event at Radio City Music Hall and wanted access to the show or an after-party. Doe was allegedly invited to an after-party by one of Combs’ associates and upon her arrival signed an apparent nondisclosure agreement and was given a drink that left her feeling “lightheaded.” She is then said to have laid down in a room; Moments later, she claimed Carter and Combs entered the room and raped her. The lawsuit alleges she punched Combs to stop him and then “grabbed her clothes” and went and called her father from a gas station.

NBC News reports that Carter received a letter from Buzbee requesting arbitration, after which Carter filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, which led to Buzbee filing again on Sunday. In a statement posted on the social media accounts of Rocnation – Carter’s entertainment company – the musician said that his lawyer “received an extortion attempt, a so-called demand letter, from an ‘attorney’ named Tony Buzbee.” He went on to say that Buzbee’s lawsuit was an attempt to extort money from him.

“These allegations are so heinous that I urge you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint!!!” Read the statement. “Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be put away, don’t you agree?”

Carter, who is married to Houston native Beyoncé, said he and his wife now need to “sit our kids down” and talk about the allegations. He called Buzbee “a deplorable human being” and questioned the lawyer’s honor and dignity as a U.S. Marine.

“You made a terrible error in judgment when you thought all ‘celebrities’ were the same,” Carter continued. “I don’t come from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of Project Brooklyn. We don’t play games like that.”

Buzbee has not commented to NBC News and has not commented publicly.

“Buzbee has established a pattern of making baseless, fabricated and malicious allegations against high-profile individuals and threatening to publicly name them if they fail to pay exorbitant amounts of money,” said a statement from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, which represents Doe in the November lawsuit. “Buzbee then uses this money to fund his lavish lifestyle. He has used these threats in recent months in letters, statements to the press, on his website and on social media to try to take down well-known people. His tactics are unethical and excessive and today they are trying to hold him accountable for his illegal behavior.”

Buzbee sued Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP last week, accusing the firm of “egregious litigation.” The attorney told the Houston Chronicle in a statement that the firm’s claims were “ridiculous.”

“We will not allow the powerful and their expensive lawyers to intimidate or silence survivors of sexual assault,” Buzbee said in the statement. “It is clear that the frivolous lawsuit against my firm is an aggressive attempt to intimidate or silence me and, ultimately, my clients. This attempt is a gross misjudgment. I am a US Marine. I will not be silenced or intimidated.”

Buzbee represents more than 100 people who claim to be victims of incidents orchestrated or committed by Combs, including “violent or sexual assault or rape,” “facilitated sex with a controlled substance,” “dissemination of video recordings,” and ” sexual abuse of minors.” .” Combs was charged with conspiracy, sexual exploitation and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. Federal prosecutors accuse him of abusing women and coercing them into sexual acts over several years.

When Buzbee announced the civil lawsuits against Combs at a news conference in Houston, he said that he would “expose the enablers who enabled this behavior behind closed doors” and that “the names we will name … are names that will do.” shock you.
