“They superglued my damn shoes to the floor”

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry shared some light-hearted but frustrating stories from his time in the WWE locker room and recounted pranks that got him into difficult situations.

I’ll keep talking Busted Open RadioMark Henry described two memorable incidents – one involving super-glued shower shoes and another in which his crutches were stolen while he was in a cast. In the first incident, Henry revealed how his size 16 shower shoes became the target of a mischievous prank.

You know I wear a size 16 – it’s damn hard to find a size 16 shoe. One of those idiots, I don’t know who, superglued my damn shower shoes to the floor. They tried to put solvent under it but it wouldn’t come off. They ended up having to use a razor and cut everything up so we wouldn’t disrespect the building.

The second incident occurred when Henry attended a WWE event with a cast on his leg and had to rely on crutches to get around. To his dismay, the crutches were hidden, leaving him stranded.

I remember my crutches were hidden. What do you think my headspace was like when my crutches were lost and I’m trying not to sell it? They said, “Man, don’t sell it, just watch the show.” I sit at the monitor for two hours – it’s a three-hour show – and I have to pee. I’m in a cast up to my thigh and I can’t move and I’m like, “Listen, man, I have to go to the bathroom or someone will get me a trash can and I’ll pee right here.”

According to Mark Henry, which WWE NXT superstar did it?

Mark Henry had high praise for a certain WWE NXT Superstar and that Superstar is none other than Lexis King (real name Brian Pillman Jr.). Henry also believes that King has great energy and that he is very credible as a heel, that King has the palpable “it” factor and that his only weakness is that he has to make everyone else in WWE believe that he has it too.
