8. Los Angeles Rams (7-6)

The NFC wild card race received more interest after the Rams’ victory over the Bills.

Los Angeles moved within one game of the Washington Commanders. The Rams are also in the fight for the NFC West crown against the Seattle Seahawks.

Washington has to play Philadelphia again in Week 16 and the home game in Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons won’t be easy as the Falcons are now in the Wild Card matchup.

With the Rams playing three of their last four games in the NFC West, their goal may be closer to the division crown.

Los Angeles already has a win over Seattle and can get another win over the Seahawks in Week 18, a game that appears to be for the division title.

Atlanta and the Arizona Cardinals are both on a downward trend, but can be serious wild card contenders if they can revive their respective seasons.

Both the Falcons and Cardinals should return to .500 with wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots in Week 15.

The San Francisco 49ers aren’t dead yet either, as they’re 6-7, but they have a challenging schedule against the Rams, Dolphins, Lions and Cardinals.

Dallas isn’t eliminated yet, but the Cowboys have to beat the Bengals to get back into the wild card mix.

At the top, Detroit sits comfortably at 12-1 but faces a difficult test from Buffalo in Week 15. The Lions are just one game ahead of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

There’s a chance the NFC North title comes down to the Lions and Vikings meeting in Week 18, but Minnesota needs to win the next three games for that to even be possible.

Philadelphia will wait in case the Lions also make a mistake. The Eagles are one game behind the top seed, but given the way the tiebreakers are shaping up, the Lions will need to lose twice to gain home-field advantage.
