Jay-Z seeks dismissal of rape lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, calls for end to “blackmail saga”

A day after Jay-Z was named in a sexual assault case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the music mogul filed a motion to dismiss the rape lawsuit, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, also asked the court to reject the plaintiff’s request to proceed anonymously. The rapper was accused of raping a minor Sean “Diddy” Combs at an MTV VMAs afterparty in 2000, the documents say.

In his motion to dismiss, Jay-Z accused Texas-based attorney Tony Buzzbee of running a “sprawling extortion saga – a saga whose aim is low and measured in dollars.”

The lawsuit, originally filed in October, was refiled on Sunday new York by an anonymous accuser who claims Jay-Z “raped” her while Combs and “Celebrity B” watched.

Representatives for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
