Golden Globes 2025: The full list of nominees

The 2025 Golden Globe nominations have been announced, revealing numerous nominations for Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez, Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, The Bear and more.

It’s a strong list of contenders for the 82nd Golden Globes, released on a live stream presentation as well as in the broadcasts website Today. Although several projects enter the show with a handful of nominations, it’s the two Netflix and A24 films that lead the pack.

Emilia Pérez, a musical crime drama starring Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez, has 10 nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy (Karla Sofía Gascón). ) and Best Director – Feature Film (Audiard). “The Brutalist,” a film about a couple fleeing postwar Europe and starring Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones, received seven nominations, including Best Screenplay – Motion Picture and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama (Brody).”

Other highlights in the nomination list for the 2025 Golden Globes include Conclave with six, The Substance with five and Challengers with four. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo also managed to snag recognition last month for their roles as Glinda and Elphaba in Wicked, as did Mikey Madison for Anora, Margaret Qualley for The Substance, Amy Adams for Nightbitch. and more. The Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture categories include notable performances such as Ralph Fiennes for Conclave, Sebastian Stan for The Apprentice, Colman Domingo for Sing Sing, Jesse Plemons in Kinds of Kindness, Hugh Grant in Heretic and more.

Meanwhile, in the television categories, “The Bear” marches into the 2025 Golden Globes with five nominations, including “Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.” Other highlights include three nominations for “The Penguin,” four for “Only Murders in the Building,” three for “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” and more.
