The Cincinnati Bengals face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football

ARLINGTON, Texas – Despite fading playoff hopes, Joe Burrow and Co. have no plans to face the Dallas Cowboys in what will likely be their final primetime game of the season.

The Bengals hope to lose three games Monday night at AT&T Stadium. And while they’re definitely left out of playoff consideration, Cincinnati still has a 2% chance of making the playoffs. They have a 3% chance of winning.

Although the Cowboys have won two straight, they are no stranger to disappointing losses this year. Similar to the Bengals, their playoff probability is 2%. If they win, that number could rise to 4%.

Cincinnati’s biggest problem this season is its defense. The offense has scored at least 27 points in every game this November. They almost lost, but won. Their only win came against the Raiders, the team that currently has the best chance of becoming the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft.

Burrow was just named the AFC Offensive Player of the Year in November. He threw 12 touchdowns and completed 89 of 145 throws for 1,035 yards. His numbers weren’t enough to lead Cincinnati to victory. Last week, the Bengals defense allowed Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson to rush for a season-high 414 yards and three touchdowns.

If they want to win their first game in Dallas since 1988, the Bengals D will have to contain Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush.

Another key to victory will be stopping Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons. Parsons, who has been on and off the field this season due to injury, will be hoping to disrupt the Bengals’ offensive line and ruin Burrow’s day. Without Orlando Brown Jr., Cincinnati will rely on Cody Ford to protect Burrow against the All-Pro linebacker.

The game will air on WCPO 9 starting at 8:15 p.m. Fans who care less about football and more about having fun can tune in to Disney+ or ESPN+ to watch a broadcast adapted from “The Simpsons.” WCPO will air postgame coverage immediately following the game.
