Update on Joe Burrow’s injury following the Bengals’ win over the Cowboys

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was seen walking around the team’s locker room after the team’s 27-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys with a noticeable limp.

Following the game, Burrow provided an update on his health.

“It’s nothing crazy,” he said. “I’ve only landed on it a few times, probably just on a bursa or something, we’ll see. It’s going to hurt for a while, but I’m fine.”

Burrow said he isn’t worried that his knee injury could keep him on the sidelines long-term.

From the start of the game, the Cowboys were intent on hitting Burrow in the pocket. He was hit eight times and sacked twice. After a fourth-quarter hit on third-and-13, the Bengals’ practice staff examined Burrow on the sideline. He placed a compression sleeve on his knee and then went back into the game, ultimately helping Cincinnati win.
