“We don’t want anything”: Murder House owner JonBenét Ramsey shares why he didn’t take part in the documentary

As all eyes are on the release of a new documentary about the murder of JonBenét Ramsey on Netflix, the people who now own the old house have come to voice their views. Carol Milner and her husband Timothy live in the same house where the young girl was murdered in 1996.

The couple also lives there with their five children. Speaking to TMZ, Carol and Timothy revealed that they were approached by producers of the Netflix documentary “Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey?” However, they rejected her offer.

In fact, according to Carol, this isn’t the first time the couple has been approached by the crew of a documentary. The outlet reported that Carol and Timothy had previously received offers from several other Hollywood names; This even includes Dr. Phil. A similar offer for the family was reportedly worth seven figures.

“We want nothing to do with the exploitation of this poor family,” Carol told the outlet.

Although Carol and Timothy hope that with the release of the aforementioned Netflix documentary that the number of visitors who frequent their home will increase, they feel safe since the property is fenced.

As for the horrific case: JonBenét was only six years old when she was found dead in the basement of the house. The incident happened back in December 1996.

But to this day her murder case, which made international headlines and caused a stir, remains unsolved.

The property happens to be a boulder in Colorado that was purchased by Carol and Timothy in 2004. According to the couple, they immediately fell in love with the sprawling mansion once they gave it a thorough tour. Carol even states that they felt uncomfortable even when they first saw it.

According to the mansion’s new owners, they do not believe that the Ramsey family is behind the murder of young JonBenét.

Meanwhile, they added that they were once afraid of a theory that suggested the killer was still at large. However, over time they have moved away from it.

Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey? will be released on Netflix on November 25, 2024.
