Jay-Z and Beyoncé made a rare red carpet appearance with their daughter Blue Ivy Carter at the premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” in Los Angeles on Monday night, a day after the rapper and businessman denied allegations that he sexually abused a teenager with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.

In videos posted to YouTube by E!News, the chart-topping rapper and singer cheered on her 12-year-old daughter, who stars in the film, before posing for photos alongside her and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.

Blue Ivy voices Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala (voiced by Beyoncé), in the film, which is a prequel to The Lion King and tells the origin story of Mufasa.

The couple’s red carpet appearance came a day after allegations against Shawn Carter, the rapper and businessman known as Jay-Z, surfaced when a woman who claims she was also assaulted by Combs amended her lawsuit to include it that Carter was also included.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe, says she was 13 years old when she was allegedly attacked by Combs and Carter at an afterparty following the Video Music Awards in 2000.

The woman claims she became light-headed after drinking at the party and went to a nearby bedroom. The woman claims Carter raped her first, followed by Combs. The woman said she hit Combs and fled the party, the amended complaint states.

In a statement sent to CNN, Carter called the allegations “so heinous that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil lawsuit!!” Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don’t you think they are too Opinion?”

Carter is the first celebrity to be charged with sexual assault in connection with Combs, who was charged in September with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and denied any wrongdoing in about 30 civil lawsuits filed against him.

On Monday, Carter’s lawyers filed a motion asking the judge to require Doe to reveal her identity or dismiss the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, Doe’s attorneys contacted Carter to request mediation, but allege that Carter “responded to the letter by filing not only an entirely frivolous lawsuit, but also a conspiracy to harass, bully, and intimidate.” staged the plaintiff’s attorneys and their families, employees and former partners to stop the plaintiff from naming Jay-Z.”

“This attempt was intended to scare the plaintiff and discredit her attorney. This attempt failed. In fact, it is because of Carter’s egregious conduct that plaintiff chose to file this amendment,” the lawsuit states.

In his response to CNN on Sunday, addressed to Doe’s attorney Tony Buzbee, Carter called the mediation request an “extortion attempt.” Carter also said that this lawyer, “who I did a little research on, seems to have a pattern of this kind of theatrics!”

In a statement from Houston-based Buzbee, he wrote: “The plea speaks for itself. This is a very serious matter that will be heard in court.”

Carter added in his statement that his “only sorrow” is for his family. “My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is at the age when their friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain people’s cruelty and greed.” I mourn one further loss of my innocence. Children shouldn’t have to endure something like this at a young age,” he said.
