PEOPLE reported that the pop star gave the entire Eras Tour team $197 million in bonuses, representing a generous but worthy reward for the crew. Swift concluded her highly successful tour on December 8th at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada. Considering the Eras Tour’s billions in sales, this bonus isn’t a big surprise.

PEOPLE exclusively reported that Taylor Swift rewarded her Eras Tour team with $197 million in bonuses for their hard work. This includes the team behind lighting, sound, merchandise, production staff and assistants, instrument technicians, dancers and the band. Swift also rewarded truck drivers, caterers, carpenters, security team, choreographers, glam team and other members of her crew.

The Eras Tour marked a significant milestone in Swift’s career. It began in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, and reached its emotional conclusion in December in Vancouver, Canada. When the singer wrapped up her North American tour, PEOPLE reported that she had paid out over $55 million in bonuses. Additionally, the singer called her “beloved” Eras tour “the most exciting chapter of my life so far” before bowing to the Vancouver crowd one final time.

The news about Taylor Swift’s bonuses comes after The New York Times revealed that the Eras Tour brought in over $2 billion in revenue. The singer’s production company, Taylor Swift Touring, provided the publication with exact figures for the first time. The concert tour sold a whopping $2,077,618,725 in total tickets, representing “twice the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.” In addition, 10,168,008 fans attended the concert.

Meanwhile, The New York Times also stated that the over $2 billion in sales was only a portion of the tour’s total revenue. This does not take into account the massive sales of goods, the secondary market consisting of online resellers and more. In October, Forbes revealed that the Eras Tour also contributed to Taylor Swift’s billionaire status. The publication estimated the singer’s net worth at $1.6 billion, making her the richest female musician.
