Frank Sinatra’s daughter gave Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg agreed to use the late jazz singer’s likeness in their new Still GIN commercial.

Tina Sinatra, 76, told PEOPLE in an exclusive quote that it was “exciting and surreal” to see an artificial intelligence replica of her father interact with the two rappers in the time-bending commercial.

“Dr. Seeing Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside my father and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a revolutionary way is both exciting and surreal,” she said. “It is a celebration of timeless art, the breaking of barriers and the enduring legacy of collaboration across generations.”

The new ad was released on Tuesday, December 10, and shows Dre, 59, and Snoop, 53, interacting with the AI ​​versions of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. Sinatra died in 1998, while Davis Jr. died in 1990.

In it, the late musicians are chatting in formal wear at a swanky bar when they see Dre and Snoop walking through the crowded room. After seeing the other bar patrons fawn over the two rappers, the “Fly Me to the Moon” crooner asks, “Who the fuck are these guys?”

In response, Davis. Jr. says, “I heard they’re the new gangsters in town.”

Intrigued, Sinatra asks her bartender to introduce her to the newcomers, whereupon they decide to have a drink together. “So, what brings you joy? What are you drinking?” Davis Jr. asks what Snoop and Dre call their gin brand.

“OK. Still GIN for everyone!” says Sinatra to a cheering crowd.

According to a press release obtained by PEOPLE, the production team worked closely with the estates of Sinatra and Davis to ensure a faithful portrayal of the late stars.

Sinatra had three children with his first wife, Nancy Barbato Sinatra: Nancy, Frank Jr. and Tina.

Tina told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview in 2015 that her father “loved life.”

Still GIN – which launched in February and is co-owned by Dre and Snoop – teamed up with their creative agency Rosewood Creative, acclaimed director Dave Meyers and generative AI company Metaphysic to create the ad.

The press release states that the advert captures “the balance between classic and modern” that defines the gin brand and “builds a cinematic bridge between past, present and future generations of superstars”.

The ad will air during The voice Season finale, which also marks the conclusion of Snoop’s first season as a coach on the series.
