16-year-old Buffalo native Sydney Sterlace is scheduled to appear in the Top 5 of NBC’s “The Voice” on Monday, December 9th.

Fans can vote for Sterlace on the official The Voice app or at NBC.com/VoiceVote. Voting is open until Tuesday, December 10th at 7am.

In her final performance to break into the top five, she sang “When the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish.

At age seven, Sterlace began participating in local talent shows, and when she turned ten, she won first place in the Erie County Fair talent competition. She performed regularly at a local musical arts festival organized by Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls.

Since participating in local talent shows, she sang the national anthem at a Buffalo Sabers game and several Buffalo Bisons games.

Sterlace’s mother has been instrumental in her success, including discovering local competitions to enter on social media. She recently won a TikTok challenge sponsored by BroadwayEvolved and was overwhelmed when she won. She was flown to New York for a week-long, all-expenses-paid Broadway intensive with Betsy Wolfe.

Fans can watch The Voice at 8 p.m. on NBC to support Sterlace.
