Sydney Sterlace is a young singer from West Seneca, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. Although Stefani had said during rehearsals that she had some concerns about Sterlace’s youth, those doubts evaporated once the singer was actually on stage, and she named Sterlace the winner.

“I had to go with Sydney,” Stefani said. “The fact that she’s 15 and can take care of the lyrics and be so dynamic when she’s there is amazing, and she’s really grown through rehearsals.”

Sterling next triumphed at the Knockouts, where she sang “Bruises” by Lewis Capaldi. After that performance, Snoop Dogg made a prediction that could potentially come true.
