Krispy Kreme brings holiday cheer with fresh donut flavors straight from Dr. Seuss’ Who-Ville.

On Monday, November 25th, the franchise announced a new “Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection” inspired by the author’s How the Grinch stole Christmas!. Jim Carey famously played the role of the Grinch in the 2000 film adaptation.

According to Krispy Kreme’s announcement, there will be three donuts based on the characters from the story: Grinch, Grinchy Claus and Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree. Additionally, the company is bringing back two fan-favorite staples: Santa Belly and Holiday Sprinkle.

The Grinch is a classic, unglazed donut with a cookies and cream filling reminiscent of coal and an intricate green frosting design modeled after the evil character’s face.

Grinch Claus is a glazed donut with chocolate frosting and a buttercream finish. Additionally, customers can enjoy Christmas sprinkles and a Grinch piece.

For Cindy-Lou Who’s Donut, Krispy Kreme complemented the original frosting with strawberry frosting and a green buttercream tree design, finished off with a star piece.

Cult Krispy Kreme fans will remember that the Santa Belly was an unglazed donut with white cream, red frosting and a black chocolate belt. Meanwhile, the Holiday Sprinkle will still be an original frosting with chocolate frosting and Christmas sprinkles.

“Who wants to celebrate Christmas with Krispy Kreme?! “Our Merry Grinchmas donuts are guaranteed to put a smile on the face of even the grinchiest Grinch,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, said in the announcement.

Customers can enjoy the holiday spirit for a limited time starting November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving. Anyone who orders a dozen donuts will receive a special Grinch-colored box.

Additionally, Krispy Kreme offers customers the option to order either a six-pack or a dozen and have them delivered fresh to participating grocery stores. To find out which stores partner with the company, go to Krispy Kreme’s website and click on the store locator.

Krispy Kreme’s Day of the Dozen promotion will also be available again this year on December 12th. Anyone who buys a dozen donuts can get a dozen glazed donuts for just $1.

Earlier this month, the conglomerate released a line of new donuts for Thanksgiving. From apple crumble to chocolate silk cake, guests were presented with a tasting board of special flavors typically served as cake. The complete collection includes Lemon Cream, Apple Crumble, Chocolate Silk and Blueberry Crispy.

“Our new donut collection, Thanksgiving Pies, was developed with this in mind, to bring people together and sweeten the time of sharing joy and gratitude,” said Skena.
