After days of speculation, North Carolina has signed the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach to a five-year contract to be the next leader of its football program.

It’s quite a jump to go from coaching the New England Patriots, playing at places like Gillette Stadium, Lambeau Field and Arrowhead Stadium, to the ACC. Belichick won’t coach his first game for the Tar Heels for some time – eight months, to be exact – but it’s not too early to see who he’ll face in his first season in North Carolina.

Who will North Carolina play in 2025?

All 12 of North Carolina’s opponents for the 2025 season are known, but only four have confirmed dates. The Tar Heels will play four non-conference games against TCU, Charlotte, Richmond and UCF – dates have already been announced – as well as eight ACC games. Where these ACC games will be played has already been determined, but the dates will be announced in the future.
