Jalen Green praises the Houston Rockets’ chemistry

The Houston Rockets are becoming a top team in the Western Conference, and one of the reasons for their strong start is the team’s growing chemistry.

The Rockets’ core has been playing together for a few years and the team has brought back almost its entire roster from a year ago, giving the team a communications edge over some other opponents.

Rockets guard Jalen Green believes the chemistry in the team is right.

“I think the chemistry is great,” Green said, via NBC Sports writer Kurt Helin. “I mean, we’ve been building for two years now, same team. Not many teams manage to stay together for that long. I mean, we all consider ourselves brothers, we communicate, we understand each other. And I think that shows on the pitch.”

The Rockets have collectively gone through a lot of growing pains, some last season and some even before that in the Stephen Silas era. All of this growth is starting to pay off as the Rockets take these experiences and prove they are learning from them.

If the Rockets can continue to grow at this rate, they should be in the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

The Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors in the Emirates NBA Cup tonight at 8:30 p.m. CT.
