Here’s who the Georgia Bulldogs will face in 2025 – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATHENS, Ga. – The Bulldogs’ season may not be over yet, but the SEC is already preparing for next season.

The SEC announced the 2025 schedules for all of its teams, including the Georgia Bulldogs, on Wednesday evening.

The current No. 2 Bulldogs and SEC champions will begin the 2025 season at home against the Marshall University Thundering Herd.

They will face their first SEC team when they travel to Knoxville to take on Tennessee.

November 22 – University of North Carolina – Charlotte at UGA

November 29 – UGA vs. Ga. Tech in Atlanta

We get a rematch of the 2024 SEC Championship that Georgia won when the Bulldogs play the Texas Longhorns in Athens. This is the first time the two teams will meet in Athens.

The 2025 season also marks the first time in a decade that the Alabama Crimson Tide will play in Athens. Their last meeting between the hedges of Sanford Stadium came in 2015, when Kirby Smart was still Alabama’s defensive coordinator and Mark Richt was finishing his final season as UGA’s head coach.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are headed to the College Football Playoff.

After the Dawgs won the SEC Championship at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week and secured the second seed in the playoffs, they received a bye into the first round of the playoffs. They will face the winner of the game between Notre Dame and Indiana in the quarterfinals of the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
