Charli D’Amelio makes her Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut with an electrifying dance number

Charli D’Amelio is best known as one of the most famous social media influencers in the world. So much so that she has received recognition Forbes, diversityAnd Assets for their work TikTok. In addition to her social media presence, D’Amelio also won season 31 of Dancing with the stars along with her partner Mark Ballas.

Dancing has always been in D’Amelio’s blood and she has proven that through her 10 years of competitive dance experience. Her dancing skills have not only garnered her a large following on social media, but have also landed her a spot on New York’s biggest stage, Broadway. Charli D’Amelio is currently making her Broadway debut in the musical comedy ” & Julia.

Luckily, D’Amelio was able to show off her dancing talents to the rest of New York City and the world. When she rode Macy’s Tom Turkey float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade and danced to “Thank You Schoën.” D’Amelio’s dancing in front of the float was passionate, nimble and decadent, giving the parade a Gen Z vibe. D’Amelio’s performance was something that hadn’t been seen at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in quite some time.

Charli D’Amelio talks Broadway

D’Amelio had the chance to perform at this year’s parade on one of New York’s largest stages. However, she appeared regularly on another major New York stage as Charmian & Julia at the Sondheim Theater. D’Amelio debuted just weeks before her showpiece appearance on October 29th.

When speaking with Playbill Of her Broadway debut, D’Amelio said, “I love every second of it” and “You learn so much and work so hard, but at the same time everyone in those rooms is just so excited to be there.”” About her character Charmian said D’Amelio: “It’s been really incredible to get deeper into my character every day.” “It’s very special to have your own identity and be able to play that in every part of the show,” D’Amelio added.

Needless to say, her brief Broadway experience and extensive background in competitive dancing prepared her perfectly for her Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade debut. Macy’s and the masses would certainly like to see D’Amelio on another float next year.
