Ange interview: “Hard game, big game”

Spurs TV asks the questions: “How does it feel to be back?” (in Glasgow). A fair question I think as Ange was Celtic manager for a few years.

He replies: “It’s good to be back – just as cold as I remember.”

And asked him about his potential reception by Rangers fans:

“When you’re up here, you know pretty well that the city is divided. And you kind of know that if you’re on one side, the other isn’t going to be all that warm and friendly to you. But that’s okay, it’s part of the sport.”

About injuries and perhaps the general malaise at Spurs after some very inconsistent results.

“We are in a difficult situation. But it’s a great opportunity for us to overcome all odds and hopefully create something special.

“I can honestly say that this is probably the worst thing I have ever experienced. What you need to do is stay calm and believe in the principles of what you are building.”

It’s not often you see a picture of Ange smiling, so here’s one

Evening all together – or morning if you are in the Australian time zone, or afternoon in America etc…

Welcome to our second live game of the day – a real cracker with a lot at stake (for Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou).

It’s the 8th ranked Rangers versus the 9th ranked Spurs.

But more than that, it’s a chance for Ange to get his season back on track after a tumultuous few months of glory (4-0 win at Man City) and dejection (is that a word that describes their various starts and defeats?)
