Time Magazine owner Marc Benioff praises Trump: We will work together

Donald Trump was named Time Magazine’s 2024 Person of the Year and received an enthusiastic endorsement from Time owner Marc Benioff, who has owned the publication since 2018. Benioff is also co-founder, chairman and CEO of Salesforce.

“Congratulations to President Trump on being named TIME’s 2024 Person of the Year,” Benioff wrote in a post on to move everyone forward. May G‑d bless the United States of America.”

Benioff shared a video of Trump celebrating his Time award at the New York Stock Exchange and also shared Ivanka Trump’s congratulatory post that read, “I celebrated an extraordinary milestone with my father as he presented his TIME Person of the Year NYSE opening bell rang. “Cover.”

The magazine named music icon Taylor Swift Person of the Year 2023. Trump took over the title for 2024 after his victory in this year’s presidential election over Kamala Harris. He will be sworn in as president for the second time on January 20th. In his Time magazine profile, Trump reiterated the pardon of some people convicted of crimes related to the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“We’re going to look at every single case, and we’re going to do it very quickly, and it’s going to start in the first hour that I take office,” Trump said. “And the vast majority of them shouldn’t be in prison. The vast majority should not be in prison, and they have suffered greatly. And I say, why is it that in Portland and many other places, Minneapolis, nothing happened to them and they actually caused death and destruction on a scale never seen before? So if you look at what happened in Seattle, people died there, there were a lot of deaths, and nothing happened, and those people were treated really, really badly. Yes, it is an important topic for me.”
