Ariana Madix celebrated the holiday season with an appearance during the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, just days after the news broke Vanderpump Rules Cast change.

The 39-year-old reality star appeared on Peacock’s Birds of a Feather Stream Together float during the parade on Thursday, November 28, in New York City and performed The Cardigans’ 1996 hit “Lovefool.” She pulled donned a cozy camel-colored coat to keep warm and dry at the rain-soaked event, and wore her hair half up and half down. She kept her glam simple and let her singing take center stage.

Earlier this week, Bravo announced Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules – in which Madix appeared in season 2 and was part of the main cast in season 3 – would be seen Lisa Vanderpump alongside an all-new cast, which the network described as a group of “tight-knit SUR-verse” who are just as intricately connected as their iconic predecessors.

“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all again,” says the executive producer Alex Baskin said in a statement on Tuesday, November 26. “With great appreciation for the original group and their legendary run, we can’t wait for audiences to see a dynamic new group of colleagues and friends make their way through life together.”

As Us prepares for a brand new version of Vanderpump Rules in 2025, the original cast is also gearing up. Bravo confirmed on Tuesday, November 26, that the series will return for season 12 with a brand new group of cast members. The upcoming season will feature Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of “close-knit SUR-verse (…).”

Later that day, Madix responded to the news via Instagram.

Vanderpump Rulesyou will forever be that girl 💖,” she wrote at the time. “I was searching until 4am for the right pictures and the right words, but there is no post or caption that could ever sum it all up. I am forever grateful to have been part of such an incredible cultural phenomenon.”

After thanking the network and the crew behind the show, Madix turned her attention to the viewers.

“Thank you especially to the fans. “You’ve been the constant for the last decade,” she gushed. “In the end, I will miss your love and support the most. You made this show what it is. To the fans who showed up for us, old and new: It’s all thanks to you that we’re here.”

Madix concluded: “I feel good about closing this chapter and looking forward to everything that’s to come. “I don’t know if these were the best days of our lives, but they were definitely special 💖.”

Season 11 of Vanderpump Ruleswhich aired from June to September 2023, featured Madix, Vanderpump, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy And Lala Kent as they dealt with the fallout from Madix and Sandoval’s March 2023 split following his affair with her former co-star Rachel Leviss. The scandal caused a rift within the cast, and Bravo subsequently took an extended production hiatus before filming for season 12 began.

Since Scandoval made headlines, Madix has capitalized on a variety of new career opportunities and made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart Chicago and host of the sixth season of Love Island USA Earlier this year.
