How to get Warframe Twitch Drops

Digital Extremes is notoriously generous with Twitch Drops at large events. Don’t miss this.

The only thing better than a Warframe that you lovingly built yourself after sorting out the parts and resources is one that you get for free because the developers felt like giving something away. Digital Extremes has a long history of dropping free Warframes, weapons and vital resources at major events, so don’t miss out on these Twitch Drops.

To claim Warframe Twitch Drops, you must link your Warframe account and your Twitch account.

  • Go to the official Warframe Twitch links page
  • Click the “Link Account” button.
  • Select the account you want to log in with. You can sign in with your Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch or Apple account.
  • On the Connections page, verify that the connection is active
  • That’s it; You’re all connected and ready to go.

To actually receive the drops, you have to watch specific streams. These can be official Digital Extremes events such as DevStreams or TennoCon, but also drop campaigns around the release of new updates and expansions. You can also earn them when other streamers present the game. Streams with active drops stream Warframe with the word DROP in the stream title so you know you can watch them.

Once you’ve watched a stream long enough to claim a drop, you’ll need to go to the Twitch Drop inventory page and claim it there. It may take up to 10 minutes for the item to be added to your linked account.

Important notice for Twitch iOS app users: You can earn rewards by watching on the Twitch app, but you can’t claim them there. You must do this via a web browser on your phone or computer.
