At the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (December 12), SEVENTEEN pulled double duty; Not only did the K-pop titans deliver a breathtaking performance of “Love, Money, Fame,” but they also took home their first-ever BBMA for “Top K-Pop Touring Artist.”

Kicking off on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, the 13 polite members of SEVENTEEN thrilled the streets of the city with perfectly coordinated choreography, sharp formations and gentle live singing and raps. The Artist 100 Top group performed “Love, Money, Fame,” the DJ Khaled-assisted lead single from their latest EP, Promise the feelings (October 14). Although Khaled didn’t show up for the performance, SEVENTEEN kept their performance as dynamic as ever by traveling from the street to the beach mid-song. With a feverish crowd in front of them and a picturesque ocean scene in the background, SEVENTEEN concluded their performance, emphasizing the special connection between them and their fans during the live sets.

In just two months of its release, “Love, Money, Party” has already caused a stir billboard Diagrams. The R&B and hip-hop influenced track has climbed to No. 50 on the Global 200 and No. 4 on World Digital Song Sales, giving SEVENTEEN its breakthrough 25th Top 10 hit in the latter ranking.

SEVENTEEN’s seismic BBMA experience in 2024 didn’t end there; The popular group also shared a heartfelt message with their CARATs and accepted their award for Top K-Pop Touring Artist.

“First and foremost, this would not have been possible without our amazing fans, CARATs,” said Joshua. “We try to make it up to you with good music and performances, but you always seem to find a way to surprise us with even more love. Thank you and know that we feel your support every step of the way.”

Vernon continued: “As we are currently in the middle of our Right Here World Tour, this award is even more meaningful to us. We see it as a reminder to keep going and bring our music as close to the audience as possible. We would like to thank our CARATs and everyone who accompanied us on the SEVENTEEN Right Here World Tour. We promise to continue making music that brings good energy and happiness. Thank you very much. Say the name: SEVENTEEN!”

SEVENTEEN is the second act ever to win this BBMAs category; The Best K-Pop Touring Artist was unveiled at the 2023 ceremony, with BLACKPINK as the first winner.

The US leg of SEVENTEEN’s Right Here Tour has produced several iconic moments, including the group’s US stadium debut at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (November 9 and 10). The Right Here Tour began on October 12th with the first of two shows at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium and ends on February 16th, 2025 with the last of two shows at Thailand’s Rajamangala National Stadium. The group’s new trek follows their Follow Tour, which visited 13 different stadiums across Asia.

SEVENTEEN has won six Top 10 titles on the Billboard 200, including 2022 Face the sun (No. 7), 2023 FML (No. 2) and 2024 Promise the feelings (No. 5). In terms of top album sales, they have secured six top charts since 2021 Attacca.
