Charli D’Amelio has gone from TikTok fame to the Broadway stage and has now secured a coveted spot in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The 20-year-old social media star stepped out through Manhattan during the 98th annual holiday event on November 28th. She performed at the parade alongside the legendary Tom Turkey in an elegant performance with the Macy’s House Dancers.

Dressed in fall colors, the ensemble prances around D’Amelio, who makes his way to the middle of the street wearing a slicked-back bun, brown boots, and a sparkly sleeved corset top. Confetti rained down with the gloomy New York sky as people in leaf costumes waved from the float behind her.

D’Amelio joins other marquee artists such as Alex Warren, Ariana Madix, Bishop Briggs, Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, Dan + Shay, Dasha, Idina Menzel, Jimmy Fallon & the Roots, New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre, Kylie Cantrall and Lea to Salonga and Liza Colón-Zayas from The bear.

The cast also includes Cynthia Erivo, Oh, Mary! Writer/Star Cole Escola, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Hudson and Billy Porter.

Former competitive dancer D’Amelio spent more than just fall break in NYC. She made her Broadway debut on October 29th & Julia in the ensemble role of Charmion.

Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the premiere, the influencer praised her castmates — many of whom are also new to Broadway — for helping her find the confidence to add singing and acting to her repertoire of talents.

“We will all go through these nerves together and experience so many firsts together,” she said. “We don’t have time to focus on the negativity and can instead focus on how great it is that we’re all here doing this together.”
