Allu Arjun’s detention: Ready to withdraw complaint, says victim’s husband

A few hours after actor Allu Arjun was arrested by police in Chikadpally on Friday (December 13, 2024), Magudampalli Bhaskar, the husband of Revathi – the woman who died in the stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2 died – a statement from a statement that he is ready to withdraw the complaint filed with the police. Mr. Bhaskar has also demanded the actor’s release.

The complaint, which is part of the first information report, said: “The reason for the incident lies with the theater management and staff of Sandhya 70 MM. The…crowd was pushing and pushing forward because of actor Allu Arjun and his personal security guards .”

“My son wanted to see the film. He took him to Sandhya Theater on his insistence. It is not his fault that Allu Arjun came there. He has nothing to do with this case. I didn’t know about his arrest either. I saw the messages on my phone when I was in the hospital. If anything, I am ready to withdraw the complaint,” he said. Mr. Bhaskar’s eight-year-old son sustained serious injuries in the stampede and was admitted to a private hospital.

Other family members said they were busy between the last rites and prayer ceremonies on the one hand and rounds at the KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad. “We need time to process everything that is happening in this case. Our priority right now is for our child’s health to improve,” said the child’s paternal uncle.
