Rashmika Mandanna calls Pushpa 2 The Rule co-star Allu Arjun’s arrest ‘heartbreaking’: ‘I can’t believe what I’m seeing’

After Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday over the death of a fan during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, his co-star Rashmika Mandanna had this to say.

The co-star of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule came out in support after he was arrested on Friday over the death of a fan during the film’s premiere on December 4. The actor, who was also present at the premiere at Sandhya Theatre, wrote a note calling it “disheartening” to see his arrest. Rashmika Mandanna on Allu Arjun’s arrest

Rashmika wrote a note on her Instagram stories about Arjun’s arrest and expressed her disbelief over everything that happened since Friday morning. She wrote: “I can’t believe what I’m seeing. The incident that occurred was an unfortunate and deeply sad incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything attributed to a single person. This situation is incredible and heartbreaking at the same time.”

Actor Nani had also supported Arjun by stating that one person cannot be blamed for the death and wrote on learn and then be much more careful and take measures to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again. We are all to blame here. One person is not responsible for it.”

Nithiin also posted on I think we need to think about how to prevent them in the future. This is not about finding fault, but about learning, growing and taking responsibility together to ensure a safer and better future.”

Sundeep Kishan wrote: “How can one man be blamed for an extremely unfortunate mass event gone wrong? Especially in a country that thrives on its people and its celebratory gatherings, we must learn from it and ensure that it repeats itself rather than pointing out the blame. I love you Allu Arjun Anna.”

What happened

On December 4, Arjun attended the Sandhya Theater with Rashmika and his wife Allu Sneha Reddy for the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. His visit resulted in hundreds of fans entering the theater, causing a mass panic that spiraled out of control. It resulted in the death of a woman and the hospitalization of her son. The police have since lodged an FIR against Arjun and the theater management and arrested them. On Friday, the Telangana High Court granted Arjun four-week interim bail after the Nampally court sent him to 14-day judicial custody.
