Gracie Abrams is a pop girl to keep an eye on.

In front of her Saturday Night Live Following its debut on December 14, Abrams added five more shows to The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour due to overwhelming demand. General ticket sales for Abrams’ first arena tour began on December 13th.

On December 9, Abrams announced that she would embark on the North American leg of her upcoming The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour. The news came less than 24 hours after Taylor Swift opened for the latest Eras Tour show in Vancouver, Canada.

Since the release of their second album The secret of usIn June 2024, the pop singer’s career continues to reach new heights. Whether it’s opening for her Us colleague and mentor Taylor Swift on the North American leg of her Eras Tour or securing her first-ever Billboard No. 1 with “That’s So True.” – Abrams has already achieved several career milestones. She doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

June 21st: The secret of us Album release

During her tour on Swift’s “Eras Tour”, Abrams presents her second studio album: The secret of uswhich contains the singles “Risk”, “Close to You” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry”. The secret of us comes just a year after Abrams’ first studio album, 2023’s Good riddance, was released.

“The energy of the music I made this year felt like running home to tell your best friend every detail of your night,” Abrams told Elle before the release The secret of us. “This time there’s almost a satirical, dramatic element to the music – not that I haven’t been obscene, obscenely dramatic in the past, but I was laughing when I wrote these songs.”

June 28th: The secret of us lands at number 1 in the UK and Australia

A week after its release The secret of us shoots to No. 1 in the UK and Australia, becoming Abrams’ first chart-topping album of her career. Abrams’ sophomore effort topped the UK’s Official Albums Chart and the Australian ARIA Top 10 Albums Chart.

“I just can’t understand it,” Abrams wrote on Instagram about the milestone. “Just grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to play the songs together.”

July 1st: The secret of us lands at No. 1 on the Billboard album sales charts

Abrams nabs another first: her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The secret of us According to Luminate data, it sold 50,000 copies in the US in the week ending June 27. The album’s first-week success is largely due to the release of its seven vinyl variants – all color variants, two of which were only available through Abrams’ online store. Vinyl sales accounted for 41,000 of the album’s total sales that week.

July 15: UK and European tour dates announced

The 25-year-old singer announces UK and European tour dates The secret of us. Abrams’ four-and-a-half-week tour begins in Madrid in February 2025 and ends March 12 in Glasgow, Scotland.

July 17: Release of the music video “I Love You, I’m Sorry”.

In Abrams’ music video for the single “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” written and directed by her close friend and collaborator Audrey Hobert, she enjoys a summer day with friends before accepting the Asshole of the Year award.

August 31: Australia and New Zealand tour dates announced

The “Us” singer-songwriter announces she is heading to Australia and New Zealand with “The Secret of Us Tour.” As of April 29, 2025, Abrams will visit six cities including Auckland, New Zealand; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia over the course of two weeks.

September 5: The North American leg of “The Secret of Us Tour” begins

Abrams takes the stage in Portland, Oregon, for the first of 23 sold-out shows on The Secret of Us Tour.

“Portland, thank you so much for being our first show back,” she captioned an Instagram post. “I feel so lucky to know you.”

Oct 18: The Secret of Us Deluxe Album release

Abrams released The Secret of Us Deluxe Album with seven additional tracks that she had teased on Instagram just days earlier. The expanded tracklist consists of four new songs as well as three live versions, including “That’s So True,” “I Told You Things” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry (Live From Vevo).”

Oct. 18: Back on the “Eras Tour”

Abrams returns to Swift in Miami as the opening act for the remaining dates of the Eras Tour. The “Close to You” singer initially accompanied Swift on the “Eras Tour” from March to August 2023.

“I will never forget what that felt like,” Abrams wrote on Instagram upon her return. “Being back on this tour feels like coming home.”

Oct. 30: Kamala Harris rally appearance

Ahead of the 2024 election, Abrams attends Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to his performance of “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” Abrams urges Gen Z voters to support the Harris-Walz campaign “A very difficult time.”

“It’s easy to get discouraged, but we know better. We know that if it’s not our turn, there’s nothing we can do about it if we vote and keep our democracy intact,” Abrams told the crowd.

November 8: Receives 2025 Grammy nomination

Abrams receives her second-ever Grammy nomination ahead of the 2025 awards ceremony. She was nominated alongside Swift for best pop duo/group performance for “Us,” their duet on Abrams’The Secret of Us Deluxe.

During the Eras Tour show in Toronto on November 16, Swift recalled the moment she and Abrams found out they had been nominated.

“You can’t even imagine the phone call between the two of us when the nominations were announced and we saw that this song was nominated,” she said. “It just screamed. It wasn’t even words, it was just wild screaming throughout the entire call.”

That evening, Abrams joined the “Fortnight” pop star on stage during her acoustic set to perform a mix of “Us” and Swift’s 1989 Single “Out of the Woods”. The Swift-assisted track debuted at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.

November 18: “That’s So True” tops the Billboard charts

“That’s So True”, a bonus track from The Secret of Us Deluxebecomes Abrams’ first No. 1 on the Billboard Streaming Songs Chart. According to Luminate data, the song takes the top spot after receiving 23.5 million streams in the week ending Nov. 14, up 25%. The track also gives Abrams her first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100, moving up to No. 1. According to Luminate, it ranked sixth with 24 million streams and nearly 2 million airplay audience impressions.

November 18: Attending the first public event with her boyfriend Paul Mescal

Abrams accompanied Gladiator II star Paul Mescal to the afterparty for the film’s premiere in Los Angeles, marking the first time the couple attended a public event as a couple. The “Us” singer and Normal people Star have been romantically linked since June 2024.

December 3: Asia tour dates announced

Abrams will head to Asia for the first time in 2025 with “The Secret of Us Tour.” Ahead of her Australian tour, Abrams announces she will play seven shows in April in cities including Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo and Bangkok.

December 8th: Last performance of the “Eras Tour”.

Before Abrams performs her final “Eras Tour” in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8, she reads an emotional speech to the audience in which she admits she’s “not ready for it to be over yet.”

“Like all of you, I grew up listening to Taylor’s songs,” she says. “Magically, I needed a moment in my life that I didn’t think anyone else could understand or know or hurt or yearn or love or lose, and yet she did.”

December 9th: Announcement of “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour”.

Abrams announces on Instagram that she is touring North America again, this time in support of The Secret of Us Deluxe Album. She will perform at venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This will be Abrams’ first headlining arena tour.

December 12: Five new shows added to the tour

Due to demand, Abrams announces five additional arena shows for The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour. She will now perform back-to-back nights in Boston, New York, Morrison, Colorado and Mexico City.

December 12: “Saturday Night Live” promotion.

Abrams appears alongside comedian Chris Rock Saturday Night Live Actress Heidi Gardner in a new promo for the December 14th episode.

December 13: Tickets for The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour go on sale

Tickets for Abrams’ The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour are now available to the general public. While some fans were lucky enough to snag advance tickets, others waited in the Ticketmaster queue only to be greeted by skyrocketing resale prices.

Abrams will perform at iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Other artists at the annual event include Katy Perry, Tate McRae, Teddy Swims and Shaboozey.
