Gracie Abrams is leaving her fans with a sour taste in their mouths with her “unjustified” ticket prices for the second US leg of her tour.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the 25-year-old Close To You singer will be making additional appearances across the country next summer as part of her deluxe tour, The Secret of Us.

Gracie opens in Boston on July 23rd and will also play shows in Toronto, New York City, California and Colorado.

She will then graduate on August 26th and 27th in Mexico City.

However, shortly after Gracie announced her shows, presale fans discovered that two VIP tickets to Madison Square Garden would set them back a whopping $648.40.

Fans of the singer – daughter of filmmaker JJ Abrams and Katie McGrath – were furious at the “absurd” ticket prices and expressed their outrage on social media.

Another commented: “Gracie Abrams tickets for $700 are completely unjustified, that girl isn’t famous enough to set her prices that high. ‘I’m sorry Gracie, but what.’

“There isn’t a single concert worth paying $700 for,” wrote a third.

Another expressed a similar sentiment, saying, “That’s not even a shade to her. There are very few artists that you should all be willing to pay $700 to see.”

“No concert ticket should ever cost $700, that’s just absurd,” added a fifth.

“I don’t think there are $700 songs worth seeing live,” wrote a sixth.

Another posted: “Even $70 is too much. ‘What are we doing here?’

After pre-sale registrations closed, fans had the opportunity to secure tickets for all tour dates during the general public sale, which opened on December 13th.

StyleCaster reported that Ticketmaster has priced Gracie’s shows at $69 to $263, with VIP packages ranging from $530 to $648.

While her New York dates are now sold out, single tickets to her Madison Square Garden performances are resold on Stub Hub for $436 or more.

Grace’s The Secret of Us tour first kicked off on September 5th in Portland, Oregon, before wrapping up on October 15th in Philadelphia, USA.

Her concerts are scheduled to continue in February 2025, when she will begin the European leg in Madrid, Spain.

She previously opened for Taylor Swift during her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Last month, Taylor revealed that she and Gracie lost it after learning that their track “Us” was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammys.

While on stage in Toronto, the 34-year-old pop star recalled her emotional reaction when she found out her track had been praised by the Recording Academy.

“The Eras tour has been going on for about a year and a half now, and so a lot of life can happen during the course of this tour and a lot of art can happen during the course of this tour,” she recalled to Menge.

“I think you’ll remember the brilliant, brilliant young lady you saw tonight, Gracie Abrams. So, a story, Gracie was there for me on the Eras Tour a year ago.’

She continued: “We had so many great memories during this tour, one of which we celebrated when she was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys. We were about eleven hundred Cosmos, went back to my house and just started writing a song.”

The Fortnight hitmaker went on to rave that the track “Us” from Gracie’s album The Secret of Us was “nominated for a Grammy.”

“You can’t even imagine the phone call between the two of us when the nominations came out and we saw that this song was nominated,” she explained.

“It just screamed. There weren’t even words, it was just wild screaming throughout the entire call.’
