Cavs vs. Wizards: Preview, Injury Report, Odds, TV

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cavs (21-4) look to shake off a rare setback by hosting the Washington Wizards (3-19) on Friday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The meeting point is scheduled for 7 p.m

After a loss to the Miami Heat, the Cavs will look to rediscover the rhythm that took them to the top of the Eastern Conference. Head coach Kenny Atkinson could use this matchup as an opportunity to give valuable minutes to key rotation players, especially with the impending return of Max Strus. Strus, out with a right ankle sprain, is on the verge of a comeback that will inevitably lead to a tighter lineup as the season progresses.

The Wizards are in a challenging season and come to Cleveland weakened by significant injuries. Washington will be without Corey Kispert, Kyle Kuzma, Saddiq Bey and Malcolm Brogdon, leaving head coach Brian Keefe with a depleted roster.

This will be the third meeting between these teams this season, with Cleveland having won the first two.
