The 2024 Heisman Trophy top 10 picks announced

The fifth through 10th places in the 2024 Heisman voting were announced Friday night (Dec. 13) on “The Top 10 Heisman Trophy Finalists Show,” presented by Nissan, which aired live on ESPN.

The six standouts completing the 2024 Heisman Trophy top 10 join the top four finishers announced Monday, which include (in alphabetical order) Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter, Boise State Running back Ashton Jeanty and Miami quarterback Cam belong to Station.

Joining the four finalists are fifth-ranked senior Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo, sixth-ranked senior Army quarterback Bryson Daily, seventh-ranked senior Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, eighth-ranked senior Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and ninth-ranked senior Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke and 10th-ranked Syracuse senior quarterback Kyle McCord.

The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner will be announced during Nissan’s televised Heisman Trophy ceremony, airing Saturday (December 14) at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Colorado’s Hunter and Sanders mark the sixth time in the last seven years that at least two players from the same team were included in the Heisman top-10 voting. It’s the first time the Buffaloes have two top-10 players.

Skattebo is Arizona State’s leading finisher since quarterback Jake Plummer finished third as a Heisman finalist in 1996.

Daily is the first Army player to finish in the Heisman top 10 since running back Mike Mayweather finished 10th in 1990. He is the best Army player since Pete Dawkins, the 1958 winner.

Warren is Penn State’s best finisher since running back Saquon Barkley, who finished fourth in 2017.

Rourke is Indiana’s best finisher since running back Tevin Coleman, who finished seventh in 2014.

McCord is Syrauce’s best player since defensive end Dwight Freeney, who went ninth in 2001.

The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner will be announced during Nissan’s televised Heisman Trophy ceremony, airing Saturday (December 14) at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
