Ellen DeGeneres is honoring her late friend Stephen “tWitch” Boss on the second anniversary of his death.

The former TV presenter, who recently moved to England, shared a photo of a tree-lined field with the caption: “Wherever I am I feel you with me. I love you witch.”

tWitch became a staple of The Ellen DeGeneres Show After landing a gig as a guest DJ in 2014, he was named co-executive producer in 2020 and remained on that series until the show’s end in May 2022.

In September, the comedian remembered tWitch on what would have been his 42nd birthday.

“Happy birthday, witch. I miss you every day,” she captioned a photo of the couple holding each other on the set of the talk show.

A year ago, on the first anniversary of his death, the television star remembered the good times with tWitch in a touching tribute on Instagram.

“I thought I would share some memories I have,” she began. “Well, first of all, I have so many memories on Twitch.”

“I love that every day after the show we sing and dance to a song. And then we kind of make each other laugh,” she continued. “And then we walked away arm in arm and went to my dressing room, which was the first one we got to, and I said, ‘I love you,’ and he said, ‘I love you very much.’ And then he went to him. And every single day we finished the show, arm in arm.

The television personality concluded the video by saying that tWitch’s “memory lives on” after he died by suicide in December 2022 at the age of 40.

“I love him so much. I miss him so much,” she shared. “And it’s a reminder every day that you just don’t know what people are going through, because he was a happy guy, I thought, and I was really close to him. And he never told me that.”

She added: “So it’s sad that he didn’t feel like he could find a way out and share that he was struggling. Because we would all have done everything we could to help him. But I miss him every single day. “I have great memories of him.”
