Al Roker Fans Demand He Needs a ‘Booster Seat’ at Thanksgiving Day Parade: How Tall is He?

Al Roker‘s appearance in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the talk of the internet, but that’s not why Today Personality experienced a faux pas in the show or a wardrobe malfunction, but was more likely due to the show’s seating arrangement.

Roker was present during NBC’s coverage of the 98th annual parade in New York City Hoda Kotb And Savannah Guthrie as hosts, with the trio sitting at a festive red desk. With Roker and Kotb on either end of Guthrie, fans at home couldn’t help but point out that the 70-year-old Roker seemed almost sunken into his seat at the table.

“If anyone is hiring, please let me know. “I was the person at NBC who made sure Al Roker had a regular-sized chair,” one X (formerly Twitter) user joked about the very obvious height difference.

“Can someone get Al Roker a booster seat??” another joked.

Someone else called for the production to give Roker a “sit-down encyclopedia.”

“You really did Al Roker dirty with that little chair,” wrote a fourth. “He is a national treasure and should be sitting in a nice, tall, comfortable chair in the middle.”

“You left Al Roker in the dryer too long!” declared another viewer.

Another wrote: “Why do they make Al Roker so dirty and make him look like he’s three feet tall?”

Despite what it looked like this morning, all three co-stars are of similar build, with their recorded heights just an inch or two apart. According to reports, Roker is 5’7″, Kotb is slightly taller at 5’7″ and Guthrie is the tallest at 5’7″.
