Sabrina Carpenter beamed during her first television interview since her split from boyfriend Barry Keoghan.

The 25-year-old singer and actress appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday to promote her Netflix holiday special, “A Nonsense Christmas.”

Although she didn’t talk about the breakup — or the rumors that the breakup was fueled by Keoghan allegedly cheating on her with OnlyFans influencer Breckie Hill — Carpenter still put on a brave face during the outing.

The blonde bombshell wore a black mini dress that showed off her legs with gold buttons and leopard print on the collar and cuffs.

She smiled as she talked about the special, her love of songwriting – inspired by Beatles legend Paul McCartney – and much more.

She even had an espresso martini and some eggnog during the entertaining interview.

Host Stephen Colbert brought out the martini to toast her six Grammy nominations, including one for best new artist.

Carpenter revealed that the upcoming Grammy Awards will be the first she attends, as she did not want to attend when she was not yet nominated.

“I was told I never wanted to leave until I was nominated.” “I didn’t think it would be in all of these categories, which is really special,” Carpenter said.

When asked if she takes time to enjoy her success, she replied, “When you’re young, you kind of exude it. ‘I don’t know how to describe it.’

“If it happens, I’ll probably look back at this moment in five years and say, ‘Wow, so much happened at once.'” “It’s hard to process it right now,” she said.

“I feel so lucky.” Singing is all I’ve ever wanted to do. “Writing songs is my favorite thing in the world, so the fact that I was able to do it and people listen is sentimental, but it’s a gift, so I’m very grateful,” she said to applause.

When Colbert asked if it was true that the Beatles inspired her to write her own songs, she said that she was “hypnotized” by their 1969 song Rocky Raccoon when she was young.

“I was so fascinated by this song and his songwriting that I fell in love with Paul McCartney. I was convinced that this was my husband, my future husband. He was quite old. I was so young that I didn’t understand that he was much older than me because I looked at all those photos. No, he’s young, about ten years older than me. “I didn’t understand math,” she said.

Carpenter and Keoghan began dating in December 2023 but split in December 2024, although an insider said they were currently on a “break.”

Then just days later, reports surfaced that Keoghan may have cheated on Carpenter with an OnlyFans star Breckie Hill.

Keoghan later deactivated his Instagram completely and posted a lengthy statement on his verified X account, saying his name had been “dragged around the internet.”

He said he deactivated his Instagram account because he could no longer be “distracted from my family and my work,” although he neither confirmed nor denied the fraud allegations.

However, Breckie Hill issued a statement saying: “To put it simply for all of you: No, I did not get along with Barry. “I have never met this man in my life. “The only time I saw him was on my TV screen when I was watching Saltburn.”
