Chris Rock praises Donald Trump’s victory, the UHC shooter and the Menendez brothers in blistering monologue – Watch

Chris Rock returned to Studio 8H this week Saturday Night Live…and he had a lot of thoughts about what was happening in the news.

The former SNL The performer hosted Saturday’s episode and opened with a monologue that directly addressed the day’s topics, including UHC shooter Luigi Mangione: “Everyone is fixated on how good-looking this guy is. If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care.” While he expressed his condolences to the family of the slain health care CEO, he added: “Sometimes drug dealers get shot. You saw it The wireRight?”

Rock then turned to the political news of the year: Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election. Despite all its controversy, he is not shocked that Trump won: “We’ve had presidents show up to the inauguration with pregnant slave girls. And I’m talking about Bill Clinton!” He pointed out that America already has a particularly checkered history: “Do you know how many rapists are in my wallet right now? A cup of coffee costs seven rapists in America! And Trump will reduce it to three.”

He also addressed the Menendez brothers, “who were released from prison just in time to be deported.” Trump, Rock said, is working with “the richest African-American in the world: Elon Musk… Nobody knows as well as a South African, how to get rid of people.” He joked that Trump and Musk were planning to “put (immigrants) on a rocket called SpaceMex.” J.Lo will remarry Ben just so she can stay in the country. I know she’s not Mexican…but Trump doesn’t know that.”

Rock concluded his talk by addressing the topic of President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter. Biden may be slowing down, Rock said, but “that middle finger still works,” adding, “Every parent in the world would pardon their son … except the Menendez brothers.”
